It is typical of Prague that its bridges are not only used for their main purposes – to connect two banks of Vltava. They are showing development of several generations of technicians and architects and last but not least of creative artists. After all, not only the oldest standing Charles Bridge with its unique sculptural gallery and bridge towers, but also many others, have numerous sculptural decorations, including their front zones. Demonstration of the fact that each of Prague bridges is an original piece of art, may be a completely technical and perfect construction, in the aesthetic point of view, of the Negrelli Viaduct. Everyone may see for himself or herself from many observation points that Prague justly boasts of its bridges.
